Technology Development Intern
Support qualification of high temperature end-effector pad materials. Execute tests, analyze data and write test reports. Study automation scripts and document details of software flow and analytical formulation for calibration.
Support development and qualification of thermal expansion compensation algorithms for high accuracy wafer placement in a vacuum environment using new sensor technologies in the area of semiconductor automation (vacuum robots). Conduct experimentation, generate and analyze data, write test reports and document details of algorithm development.
Support technology development team in building test stands (mechanical and electrical) for experiments in different projects.
Preferred Degree Programs/Skills/Unique Capabilities:
- Mechanical or Electrical engineering with software programing skills. Hands on laboratory work. Knows how to use sensors and instrumentation for automation such as digital oscilloscopes, data loggers, thermocouples. Knows how to interpret basic electric circuits. Capable of building test fixtures for electrical and mechanical test fixtures.
- Self-motivated. Capable of working as a team player.
