Overview

This role will support the Brooks Semiconductor Service organization by developing automation technical training content for customers and Brooks team members. They will interact with global functional organizations such as hardware and software engineers, quality engineers, manufacturing, and field service leads to develop course content in the form of technical documents, presentations, videos, and online LMS courses. This role works cross-functionally to continually evaluate course content based on new engineering software and hardware releases, Quality team failure and reliability data, manufacturing/Repair methods, and Service Team escalations

An ideal candidate has a background in a technical discipline, has a passion for learning, and has motivation to expand our Technical Training program.  Candidates will have strong multimedia skills, knowledge in authoring tools, as well as video creation and production tools. Candidate should exemplify creative thinking and bring forth ideas that will help promote and engage students and potential customers using the latest technological tools and media.

Ideally, we would prefer a candidate to have a technical and/or a multimedia background with degree preferred. however we are open to candidates who hold a non-technical degree as well but has strong background and experience on the core elements below.

  • Develops training using ADDIE, SAM and ADAPTIVE learning models

  • Develops multi-level certification training for global enterprise

  • Deliver world class training certification course for internal Service Engineers and external customers

  • Implements and publishes courses using LMS to publish deliverables

  • Develops courses using collaboration efforts with SMEs

  • Creates experiential interactive course modules with Adobe and Articulate authoring tools

  • Minimum travel to global offices i.e. Germany and Switzerland. About 1-2 week/quarter.
