Responsible for the installation, repair and preventative maintenance of personal computer and related systems. Performs all installations, upgrades and backups of software and hardware applications. Troubleshoots software and hardware failures and identifies network problems when they relate to PCs. Maintains records of repairs, downtime, changes and updates and responds to clients. May assist Network Administrator with troubleshooting of networks. May also staff the help desk.
Work is supervised daily or weekly with assignments that encompass a well-defined set of tasks. Follows established procedures, processes or policies. Work is reviewed frequently for overall adequacy and accuracy. Developing a good knowledge of the company and may be assigned to projects for career development.
