This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a career within engineering, through apprenticeship. The apprentice Tool Room Technician is tasked, whilst under supervision, with supporting the tool room with repairs, modifications and servicing of injection moulding tools and other associated tooling.
This training will be conducted onsite within our Tool room but will include offsite training and or college day release.
To carry out the Repairs, modifications and servicing of injection moulding tools and other associated tooling.
To use all toolroom machines and equipment to a high standard.
To read and understand technical drawings.
To carry out in tooling service checks as specified; to report results on the forms provided and to highlight any deviations from specification for correction.
To work safely in special conditions as necessary: clean rooms; low humidity; or static – free and workshop environments.
To carry out such other tasks as required from time to time.
To assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
