Overview

The Indianapolis Supply Chain Manager coordinates and directs the activities of assigned Regulated Product Specialists, shipping, receiving and warehouse personnel. Applies knowledge of warehouse methods, equipment, quality standards and performance management in a highly regulated drug distribution operation. Delivers excellent customer service to clients as measured by regulatory compliance, service quality, delivery and productivity. Candidate must meet Drug Distributor Accreditation requirements of two years managerial or supervisory experience in a pharmacy or drug wholesale distributor.

Trains, assigns, and supervises activities of employees engaged in receiving, storing, shipping and re-stocking materials into the warehouse while sustaining material/data integrity.
Manages reverse logistics processes to return materials to controlled storage environments while sustaining material/data integrity.
Monitors productivity and performance standards, plans and directs workflow and project assignments.
Ensures that all material movement by personnel is accompanied by timely and accurate system transactions.
Identifies, develops, and leads implementation of measures to improve efficiency of warehouse methods, equipment performance and working conditions.

Requirements

Minimum of two years full-time managerial or supervisory experience in a pharmacy or drug wholesale distributor.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Strong working knowledge of Drug Distributor Accreditation, formerly VAWD regulations, and ISO9001 quality standards in a highly regulated warehousing / distribution operation.
Knowledge of warehouse and inventory practices and procedures, standard management principles and practices, and standard business practices.
Experienced with applicable OSHA safety regulations.
