Overview

  • As a Supply Chain Analyst in Brooks’ Global Supply Chain organization you will be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of inventory management and related agreements.  You will also be an integral part of the planning and development of the inventory control program.  You will coordinate actions across commodity management, procurement, demand planning and operations to develop, implement, report and maintain effective inventory controls that align with Brooks operational goals.

Key Focus Areas

  • Develop a global inventory plan in conjunction with Commodity Management teams as well as Contract Manufacturers and critical component suppliers that positions the supply chain organization for flexibility and cost efficiency.
  • In collaboration with internal teams and external partners, implement multi-tier demand driven materials management process to achieve a world class lean supply chain operation.
  • Develop and communicate supply chain performance metrics, forward looking health and action plans in a cross functional environment. Transition existing reports and create supply chain dashboards in Tableau
  • Part of a team that manages supply, inventory and operations planning (SIOP) for changes in forecasts and demand fluctuations to identify changes or to determine the effect on supply chain activities.  Ensure project readiness/schedule adherence for implementing inventory programs.
  • Highlight potential supply risks to meet revenue. Work closely with SIOP managers for product transition management to minimize E&O inventory exposure.
  • Be able to collaborate cross-functionally to drive MRB inventory related actions
  • Work cross functionally to reduce slow moving , non-moving parts and unallocated finished good inventory
  • Publish reports to highlight trends and drive supply chain actions. Analyze trends and be able to recommend areas of process improvement.
  • Assess, test, introduce and maintain tools necessary to ensure adequate stock of inventory per established inventory programs/agreements
  • Drive performance metrics that measure and evaluate supply chain performance factors such as delivery to promise and need dates, external available capacity, and adherence to the terms of the inventory program/agreement
  • Monitor and analyze information about overall supplier performance
  • Maintain and adjust contractual agreements with the external supply base

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field or relevant experience, required
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, required
  • Advanced Oracle EBS and/ or Oracle Cloud experience as well as experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, highly desired.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.  Intermediate to advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, charting, conditional formatting, VBA and macro), required
  • Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with a focus on achieving stated goals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management experience
  • Lean Six Sigma experience / CPIM, desired
