Sales Operations Associate BioTechnology and Molecular Biology – GENEWIZ Germany (m/f/d)

Location:

Leipzig, Germany

Job Summary

The Sales Operations Associate works in close cooperation with the Brooks Life Sciences Services Europe Sales team, Project Managers, Marketing team and Laboratories. Your location of work will be Leipzig in combination with home-office work.

This includes the following tasks:

  • Supporting the sales representatives in the field as an interface between sales, laboratory and the technical customer service.

  • Preparation of administrative quotes and sales proposals.

  • Regular communication on a European level: German and English, written and spoken.

  • Manage RFP and tender process, including preparation, coordination of information, closing and submission.

  • Entering and maintaining data in the form of spreadsheets and graphs for internal reports.

  • Preparation of sales forecasts.

  • Maintain customer databases, including contract management, confidentiality agreements, and project definitions.

  • Participate in improving sales processes, marketing campaigns, and service to internal and external customers.

  • Preparing and forwarding information from the proposal database to the Sales team.

Our expectations:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or relative work experience required

  • Previous sales or project management experience preferred

  • Background in Molecular Biology preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal communications skills, both written and verbal are essential

  • Ability to speak on the phone and interact with customers with confidence and ease

  • Business fluent in German and English
