Overview

Responsible for repair of Brooks Automation Semiconductor equipment products such as loadports, SMIF solutions, and wafer sorter assemblies.

Ensure product repairs conform to Brooks procedures and test documentation to meet company standards. Prepare repair analysis reports for customers, describing the issue found and the parts replaced during repair. Work with Quality Engineering on evaluations for failure analysis. Cross-train on multiple products as needed pass Brooks qualification process. Understand and follow company processes related to repair. Completes tasks in creative and effective ways. Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.

Qualifications:

Education: Technical degree preferred, or equivalent experience

Years of Experience: 5+ years experience in the repair of complex mechanical systems. Semiconductor equipment experience preferred.

Hands-on experience with diagnosing, repair and refurbishment of electrical and mechanical systems.

Effective interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated team work capability.

Good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Familiar with Agile and Oracle a plus.
