The Operations Director will drive innovation within the Manufacturing and Planning organization.  This role will lead a creative team who uses AI and Machine Learning to take data analytics and tracking to the next level. In this highly visible position, you will have the freedom to drive change and deliver greater efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Drives the long-range strategic planning process for operations by overseeing and managing all manufacturing operations, including manufacturing itself, planning, and production control.
  • Develops and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and process excellence.
  • Defines goals, improves technologies, and resolves problems in collaboration with the Business Unit Management, Product Quality, Engineering and Services.
  • Translates customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes, resulting in cost-effective processing and profitable manufacturing of company products.
  • Maintains the highest levels of safety and regulatory compliance relating to the production facility.
  • Responsible for leading the overall Planning and Production Operations teams.


Experienced Operations leader within a customer-focused business, preferably in capital equipment, with a successful track record of managing and growing operations.

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or experience in related field preferred.

15+ years of management experience, and direct manufacturing experience.

Experience working directly in a manufacturing environment is required.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.  Ability to collaborate and work with all levels of management. Ability to manage individuals and managers across multiple interdisciplinary teams simultaneously.

Strong functional and technical knowledge, including: Demonstrated understanding of common business practices as related to Customer Relationship Management, Scheduling (SOP, MRP), Project Management (Costing, Engineering and Scheduling), Material Management (Purchasing, Inventory, Shipping & Receiving) and Accounting.

Understanding of Lean tools and transformation.
