The Manufacturing System Technician (MST) performs functions associated with manufacturing operations, including electro-mechanical assembly, set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting related to Brooks Life Sciences cryogenic products.
Responsibilities:
Uses programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment.
Determines or may assist in developing methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and/or diagrams to control or modify the manufacturing process.
Works with engineers in conducting experiments.
May prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
Higher levels may provide guidance to other non-exempt personnel and may lead or supervise activities within a team lead function.
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of related experienceor equivalent
Position Requirements:
Ability to work within a fast-paced environment and adapt to priority changes at last minute.
Ability to collaborate and work with other warehouse and stockroom personnel.
High attention to detail and quality is a must.
Familiarity with PCs and Microsoft Office applications.
Must have knowledge of reporting and spreadsheets.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate in an organized and knowledgeable manner, delivering clear requests for information, demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks.
Candidate must have excellent organizational skills, capable of maintaining project plans.
Experience working collaboratively, both in person and through web-based communication environments.
