Objective: Support Engineering Cross-Functional teams to exceed customer expectations while delivering high quality, robust and cost-effective design of the highly reliable electro-mechanical products for high vacuum and cleanroom applications for the semiconductor and adjacent equipment industries. Minimize risk to overall project through detailed schedule and tracking of resource loading.
This position requires managing cross-functional engineering teams through Design in Win (DIW), Customized Products (CusP), Continues Improvement Programs (CIP) and New Product Development (NPD) projects focused on delivery of a product through the design process into a finished state ready for external and internal customers. Develop detailed project plans including engineering tasks schedules, resource loading and project budgets. Guide the projects to deliver on the engineering millstones and report the status. Participate in the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the projects on schedule and within budget constraints.
The required skills are persistence in meeting goals coupled with flexibility to find a path around obstacles and the ability to keep the team focused on meeting the customer’s expectations. A high level of organization is required to schedule and track the many details of multiple projects simultaneously. The individual needs to be a process champion to ensure projects are not only completed but also that the resulting products are robust by ensuring completion of necessary process steps.
