Culture: In the Semiconductor marketplace, our customer’s demand high performance, high quality and state-of-the-art solutions to enable the rapid development of emerging technologies around the globe. The successful development of automation equipment requires a seamless integration of Electrical, Mechanical, Embedded Controls and Software engineering. All designs need to be compliant with global regulatory requirements. To achieve this, we are focused on embodying a culture of working together. In our electrical engineering team, one will find a culture of Collaboration, Learning, Cross Training, Respect for each other’s Talents, Constructive Design Reviews, Customer Focus and Integrity.
Our Opportunity: We are looking for an enthusiastic electrical engineering manager, eager to integrate into our culture and be a key team contributor. This manager will work with a small team of electrical engineers, and cross functionally with mechanical, software and embedded controls engineers, in supporting industry leading robotic atmospheric and vacuum system platforms. Learning experiences will include understanding the design, operation and usage of our products in the highly dynamic Semiconductor industry and providing customers with world class solutions to their challenges. This individual will oversee and mentor a team of early-mid career engineers in developing new tool features, new modules, new tool configurations, investigating challenges from our operations team and customers, handling EOL components, and reviewing regulatory compliance.
In a typical week, the priorities for the team are defined in our on-line project system: long-term development projects will progress, a question or issue may arise from a customer or from our operations team requiring a quick investigation and response, an EOL component issue may come up, a customer may have a compliance question or need a document, input at multiple design reviews may be given, and a ‘Lunch & Learn’ seminar may be attended. Occasionally, an ice cream social might be on the agenda.
