Position Summary:

Brooks Life Sciences is seeking an experienced Digital Marketing and Ecommerce leader to oversee the development and execution of a modern digital, social media strategies, and eCommerce platform as part of Brooks Life Sciences digital marketing strategy and growth. We are looking for a tech-savvy marketing leader with strong background in eCommerce and digital marketing across all company owned websites and platforms.  This role will take on a customer-centric approach to work across organization functions to build out a digital strategy and ecommerce capabilities to fuel our customer engagement and revenue.

Key focus areas:

  • Drive development and execution of the digital and social media strategy
  • Deliver continuous enhancements to the consumer website experience.
  • Lead the development and implementation of digital commerce platform capabilities
  • Grow the digital ecosystem including increasing traffic and consumer engagement.
  • Drive cohesive, connected, and unified consumer experience across owned digital and commerce channels.
  • Align senior business leaders with the right digital commerce strategy and platforms for brands, product lines, and media tactics.
  • Drive sales and margin thru digital channels and marketplaces.
  • Develop digital media and marketing plans for each channel to achieve ROI and sales targets.
  • Collaborate with media partners to configure, test, and validate destinations (social, display, media, targeting platforms) to send segments for audience activation and conversion.
  • Oversee SEO and SEM strategy for all consumer websites.
  • Enhance ownership content and digital experience.
  • Determine team focus, priority, and resource allocation.
  • Define and execute a CX strategy that aligns to the brand and product line strategies.
  • Provide best in class customer service and operations support for Social Media, Digital & eCommerce
  • Provide training for team members for leadership development and to stay in tune with digital, social media and ecommerce tools and technologies.
  • Stay in tune with latest UA practices.
  • Own the consumer privacy policy and consumer data governance.
  • Responsible for consumer ratings and review web scraping and product feedback.
  • Lead analysis and reporting on digital performance, ensuring leadership and cross-functional counterparts are informed on key performance metrics. Surface insight from our digital channels to support broader go-to-market strategy
  • Develop and launch customized consumer communications including predictive capabilities.

    Candidate qualifications / education/ experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • 12+ years of digital marketing experience with at least 5 years with direct commerce and experience with integrated media and marketing platforms that include experience in social, digital, and traditional marketing
  • Demonstrated experience with implementing digital marketing initiatives that will scale to support the requirements of a growing organization with multiple brands
  • 5+ years in CRM and / or digital media experience
  • Experienced people manager with prior experience leading and developing a team of exempt and non-exempt employees, as well as working across indirect reports and cross functional partners
  • Deep understanding of the digital environment, Salesforce platform including Marketing Cloud
  • Deep understanding of front end and technical knowledge of digital and ecommerce platforms
  • Deep understanding of conversion tactics, tools, and KPI tools
  • Excellent project management skills with technical background for ECP (Big Commerce), and marketing platforms (Salesforce)
  • Digital experience in programmatic advertising, online advertising campaigns, CRM onboarding
  • Strong experience with digital advertising ecosystem (ad servers, DSP (demand side platform)
  • Superior cross functional communication and collaborations skills to drive engagement and alignment
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization; must be able to articulate a vision and develop and deliver supporting marketing plans
  • Must be able to work in a fast pace environment and comfortable working with ambiguity and change
     

    Relevant additional requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in B2B digital marketing and eCommerce in a B2B environment
  • Proven expertise leveraging digital marketing best practices (Email, Paid Search, Display, Social) to drive engagement and revenue
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Must be able to create and present strategies to marketing peers, leadership, and sales
  • Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving business strategy
  • Strong relationship builder both within the organization and with external partners
  • Strong leadership and consensus building skills, with a willingness to continually embrace personal and professional development
  • Experience in a DMP (Data Management Platform)
  • Experience with consumer data privacy, governance, and GDPR compliance laws
  • Prior experience having worked with Service Cloud and Sales cloud
  • Demonstrate a strong command of technical details to translate proposed solutions into functional specifications with the technical team
  • Experiences in life sciences a plus
